Why not choose our oranges, clementines, lemons, or avocados and help make a real difference?
When you buy oranges from a supermarket, you’re often supporting a system that exploits the workers who pick them.
Many of these workers, often migrants, endure harsh conditions, living in temporary camps and surviving on extremely low wages—all to sustain the profits of the distribution chain.
In Calabria, Southern Italy, the Mani e Terra co-operative is doing it differently. They produce oranges harvested by workers who are employed under fair contracts and paid a living wage.
In addition, we pay 10% more than the amount our fruit costs. This premium is used to support the work of renovating empty or derelict buildings into dignified accommodation for migrant workers in the region who would otherwise live in terrible conditions in camps. This project is managed by Mediterranean Hope.

Fruit is delivered to us in 10kg boxes and many customers buy a whole box to share with others – family, friends and neighbours.

Oranges for Justice is a UK registered Community Interest Company (CIC).

Oranges for Justice aims to replicate the existing purchasing groups in Germany and Switzerland by importing and selling the oranges in the UK.
Our first delivery took place in Dec 2024, and was very well received. A second delivery will arrive in March 2025. Next season (Oct 2025 to April 2026) we are looking to add some extra locations.

At Oranges for Justice, we aim to follow their example. Last season, with support from a local church and our customers, we were able to donate fruit to Witney Food Bank (3 boxes) and NOSH in Stroud (5 boxes).
